ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide in Abingdon, MD. You will greet patients, assist with intake and scheduling, and support therapists in preparing treatment areas and exercises. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy practices.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, onboarding, verifying benefits, and assisting with exercises and home programs. A collaborative team environment is provided with opportunities for growth.

Clinic Operation Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 7:00pm

Status: Part-time - 19 hours per week

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, & completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, or setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
