Therapy Smarts, Inc. in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our pediatric-focused clinical team.

You will deliver high-quality patient care in clinics, schools, and related settings, building individualized plans of care from assessment results and collaborating with physicians and therapists. Your responsibilities include direct patient treatments, data collection, and documentation, while maintaining productivity targets and a commitment to ongoing professional

Responsibilities

Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a clinic setting. The PT will work with other clinical staff to provide quality care for patients in a safe and professional manner. The PT will also be responsible for developing and implementing a physical therapy plan of care for patients based on their individualized assessment. The ideal candidate will have a background in or an interest in post-acute rehabilitation, geriatric care, or a physical therapy program of study.

Essential Functions

• Provide direct patient care by administering therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
• Administer therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
• Collect and record patient medical and clinical data.
• Perform physical examinations on selected populations of patients.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
• Provide quality patient care by following established protocols, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Maintain accurate records by accurately recording patient medical and clinical data.
• Work cooperatively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited APTA program for Physical Therapy.
• Master's Degree (preferred).
• Holds a current license as a Physical Therapist issued by the state of North Carolina.
• Experience with the pediatric population.
• Self-motivated, hardworking.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team-based atmosphere.
• Motivated to meet productivity targets and contribute to company growth.
• Solid work history and consistent attendance.
• Ability to effectively & professionally communicate verbally and in documentation.
• Experience with or desire to learn Telehealth.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
