Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
  • 2–3 years hospital/rehab experience.

  • Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
  • Supervises PTAs in accordance with policy and state regulations.
  • Provides individual, family, and group therapy sessions in outpatient settings.
  • Participates in discharge planning and interdisciplinary groups.

Strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and a patient-centered approach are essential.SummaryRestores Patient Physical Functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment goals and plans, administering manual exercises, and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities and using assistive and supportive devices. They will be responsible for Physical Therapy Students and Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as training new staff as needed. They will also participate in program development and research as required per site.Does this position require Patient Care?
