Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our patient-focused team. You will assess patients’ needs, initiate treatment plans, and deliver care across pediatric to older adult populations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include a California PT license and BLS certification; preferrred qualifications include advanced degrees and D.P.T, with emphasis on adult disability experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• California Physical Therapist License upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
• Provide and initiate treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care across age groups.
• Care across pediatric to older adult patient populations.

The Physical Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The Physical Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments. Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the physical therapist accurately assesses patients' needs: identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions. Providing care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
