Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide and initiate treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments, employing a collaborative team approach to assess needs and determine interventions from pediatric to older adults.

The successful candidate will hold a California PT license, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and BLS certification, with preferred advanced degrees and experience in adult disability settings.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.

The Physical Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The Physical Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments. Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the physical therapist accurately assesses patients' needs: identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions. Providing care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
