Job summary

Providence Little Co of Mary Trans Care Ctr-Torrance seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess patient needs and develop tailored therapy plans. The role emphasizes collaborative care, initiating treatment programs, and delivering services across pediatric to older adult populations at our Torrance location.

Required are a PT degree, California license, and BLS certification; advanced degrees (MS/PtD) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• California Physical Therapist License required upon hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Physical Therapy and a D.P.T. program.
• Experience in adult physical disability settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop/ initiate physical therapy interventions.
• Provide and coordinate care for pediatric through older adult patients.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement treatment plans.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory guidelines.

The Physical Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The Physical Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments. Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the physical therapist accurately assesses patients' needs: identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions. Providing care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
