Job Summary
Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluation results, including measurements of neuromuscular and skeletal functions. Provides direct patient care, documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. May assist Level II & III physical therapists and leadership with program development, and provide training to students, interns, and staff. Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and technicians.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licenses/Certifications: Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or the Physical Therapy Compact, and current BLS certification.
Physical Therapist Direct Access:
Education: Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship, or licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis.
Licenses/Certifications: Current license to practice Physical Therapy by the Texas Board or the Physical Therapy Compact.
