Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care, evaluate and treat within NYS guidelines and hospital policy.

You will supervise PTA's, rehab aides and students daily and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment.
• General computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.’s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
