Job summary

The Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Bronx, NY to provide direct patient care, evaluations, and treatments under NYS guidelines and hospital policy. You will supervise PTAs and Rehabilitation Aides, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Role offers a day shift with potential 4- or 5-day workweek and an hourly hiring rate of $53.86, with possible experience-based differential.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment.
• General computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.'s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.

Work Schedule

This position offers the option of a 4 or 5 day workweek: Sunday - Thursday - 10am - 6pm (5 day workweek) Sunday - Thursday - - 8am- -6pm (4 day workweek) -days worked depend on need of department and seniority New grads will be considered
