This position includes but is not limited to the following areas: Ray, Ira, Armada, Bruce, New Haven, Richmond, Romeo, New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Washington, Casco, Columbus, Lenox, Washington.

Job Description:

As a Physical Therapist in our Home Health Care Division, you will conduct therapy sessions in patients' homes. The coverage area is Macomb County, including but not limited to: Gross Point, St. Clair Shores, Washington, and Armada.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs (e.g., heat, water, exercise) aimed at relieving pain and restoring physical functions for rehabilitative clients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required to relieve pain and/or restore physiological functions.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Requires current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan.

Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must be able to lift and position clients and perform treatment modalities.

A high level of interpersonal skills is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.

Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
