About the Role

At New York-Presbyterian, our Physical Therapists utilize advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. Our state-of-the-art facilities support our mission to help patients reach their full potential. Join our interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality physical therapy across various acute care services, including Medical/Surgical, Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Inpatient Spine, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Outpatient Physical Therapy.

Position Details

• Rotation through multiple acute care units, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and fast-track programs.
• Initial hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
• Future shifts: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, or Monday-Friday from 12 pm - 8 pm.

Qualifications

Preferred Criteria:

• Adult acute care experience.
• Experience with patients post-orthopedic surgery.
• Cardio-pulmonary experience.
• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current NYS PT licensure.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
