Job Title: PHYSICAL THERAPIST SR

Location: Temple Faculty Physicians

Hours: 40 hours days

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Independently evaluates and treats patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
  2. Ensures compliance with patient billing, scheduling, and authorization/referrals.
  3. Supervises students and physical therapy aides.
  4. Establishes therapeutic programs related to patient care, participates in research and education.
  5. Acts as an expert source and trainer for colleagues and staff.
  6. Provides daily instruction to patients including for home exercise programs.
  7. Ensures compliance/assists in regulatory preparation in clinical space.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.
  9. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment centered on patient needs.
  10. Treats patients with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture.

Education:

Doctorate Degree: Accredited Physical Therapy program approved by APTA (Required)


Experience:

4 years relevant clinical experience (Required)

General Experience with CPT coding and 3rd party billing requirements (Required)


License/Certifications:

PT-LIC - PA Physical Therapist License (Required)

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
