Job Description

Physical Therapy Services Coordinator (PTSC)

Crossroads Continuum | Marlborough, MA

Lead. Innovate. Inspire. Change Lives.

Are you a Physical Therapist who is ready for more than a traditional clinical role?

Do you want to lead a school-based team, shape programming, collaborate with an incredible multidisciplinary staff, and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young adults with autism?

At Crossroads Continuum, we’re looking for a passionate, innovative, and mission-driven Physical Therapy Services Coordinator (PTSC) to lead our Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education departments while helping students build the skills they need to live meaningful, independent lives.

This is an opportunity to combine clinical excellence, leadership, mentorship, creativity, and collaboration in one highly rewarding role.

Why Crossroads?

At Crossroads, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, communicate, move, and thrive.

Our nationally recognized autism program serves students with a wide range of abilities and support needs. We utilize evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while fostering a collaborative culture where Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech‑Language Pathologists, Teachers, Behavior Specialists, Nurses, and Administrators work together every day to create life‑changing outcomes.

What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership
  • Develop and oversee Physical Therapy programming across the school
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re‑evaluations
  • Monitor student progress and adjust programming based on data
  • Provide both direct and consultative Physical Therapy services
  • Collaborate closely with families, educators, and related service providers
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapists and the Adapted Physical Education Teacher
  • Facilitate department meetings and ensure consistency across programming
  • Support professional development and ongoing staff training
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback
School-Wide Impact
  • Partner with school leadership on initiatives that promote student wellness, physical activity, and functional independence
  • Assist with school wide programs and events such as: Special Olympics, Field Day, and swim trips
  • Participating in community outings and experiential learning opportunities
What Makes This Role Truly Unique?

Many Physical Therapy leadership roles focus solely on clinical oversight. At Crossroads, you’ll have the opportunity to do so much more.

As the Physical Therapy Services Coordinator, you’ll serve as the leader of the Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education departments, helping shape the future of services for students with autism while mentoring and developing fellow clinicians.

But leadership at Crossroads extends far beyond your department.

We believe the best ideas come from passionate people, regardless of title, which is why our leaders have opportunities to participate in and influence many of the initiatives that make Crossroads such a special place to work.

Depending on your interests, you may choose to contribute to:

  • Crossroads' Annual 5K Walk/Run
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives
  • Staff wellness and engagement committees
  • School-wide strategic initiatives
  • Professional development and staff training programs
  • Community partnerships and outreach efforts

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position where your impact reaches far beyond your caseload.

You’ll help shape student experiences, mentor staff, influence organizational initiatives, and contribute to a mission-driven culture that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.

Simply put, this is not just a Physical Therapy leadership position, it’s an opportunity to become a leader within an entire community.

If you’re looking for a role where you can build programs, inspire teams, contribute your ideas, and make a meaningful difference every day, we’d love to meet you.
