Valley Health System in Virginia seeks a Therapist I to join our Physical Therapy team. This role supports patient care across multiple rehab settings, interacts with an interdisciplinary team, and follows physician referrals to determine and deliver needed therapies.

The Therapist I will maintain licensure, pursue ongoing education, and participate in departmental initiatives while delivering timely rehabilitation services to improve safety and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• PT License - Virginia/West Virginia licensure or transitional license at time of hire.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - AHA approved.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Age Specific Competencies.
• Entry level competency in discipline specific interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality, best-practice rehab services to patients.
• Determine patient needs and provide interventions to improve safety and functional independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and respond to physician referrals.
• Maintain professional competence and seek ongoing education.
