Valley Health is seeking a Therapist I to join the Physical Therapy team in Virginia. You will work across acute, inpatient, and outpatient rehab settings as part of an interdisciplinary team, addressing patient needs and guiding progression through the continuum of care.

The role emphasizes licensure compliance, timely documentation, and ongoing learning to provide best-practice rehabilitation services to patients with varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• PT license for Virginia/West Virginia or transitional license at time of hire.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to orientation.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills, with timely documentation.
• Age-specific competencies and entry-level discipline-specific interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality rehabilitation services across rehab settings as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Determine skilled and medically necessary needs and adjust care based on physician referrals.
• Document and bill per guidelines, ensuring licensure compliance and timely progression.
• Maintain professional competence and seek continuing education opportunities.
• Contribute to program development and process improvement initiatives.
