Job summary

Sidney Health Center in Sidney, MT is seeking a Rehab Services Staff Physical Therapist to join our I CARE team. This full-time role offers 35–40 hours per week and a starting wage of $40 per hour, aligned with internal pay structure.

You will perform evaluations, progress notes, and daily treatments with diverse patient groups, document in the EHR for reimbursement, and discharge when appropriate. Our team values expert care, collaboration, and work-life balance in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Align rehab services with Sidney Health Center's mission and goals.

• Use differential diagnosis to identify impairments and plan care.
• Document in EHR with proper notes for reimbursement.
• Work with inpatients, outpatients, extended care and specialty rehab as needed.
• Ensure evidence-based clinical practice and consistent care standards.

The Position: Physical Therapist ~ Rehab Services

Employment Status: Full-time.

Hours per two-week pay-period: 35-40 hours per week

Compensation: $40 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Align rehabilitation services with organizational mission, vision and strategic goals of Sidney Health Center


• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and daily treatment for physical therapy for a variety of clients


• Use differential diagnosis to properly identify impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities to provide an appropriate plan of care.


• Document via EHR with proper documentation and necessity for reimbursement for treatment


• Work with a variety of clients in inpatient, outpatient, extended care and specialty rehab services as needed by the department


• Ensure evidence-based clinical practice and consistent care standards across service lines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy in the state of Montana


• Graduation from an accredited professional program

Certifications and Licenses:

• Current, unrestricted license in Physical Therapy in the state of Montana


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Essential duties of the position include providing a high standard of patient care including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, and assessing patients for continued need of care and progressing their plan of care accordingly until they are able to discharge independently.
