Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services in skilled nursing facility and acute care hospital settings. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop plans of care, and discharge appropriately while supervising PTAs and Rehab Techs.

The role emphasizes adherence to professional standards, licensing requirements, and ongoing clinical development in collaboration with our clinical team across 44 states.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist delivers high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices.
• Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs, and case management.
• The therapist upholds professional conduct and complies with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.
• Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development.
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations.
