Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our patient-centered team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians to restore function and relieve pain.

You will supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, educate patients on prevention and exercises, and document progress. The role requires KY PT license and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required and Kentucky PT license or eligibility.
• Experience in evaluating patients and documenting progress.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Supervise PT assistants and support staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care aligned with patient goals.
• Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment.
• Directs and supervises physical therapy staff and delegates tasks.
