Job summary

Del Sol Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You’ll assess needs and craft personalized therapy plans with physicians and the care team to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on exercises and safe techniques that promote independence.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices for independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
• Lead by example; mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare's values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team

• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence

• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery

• Leading by example-mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare's values of excellence, compassion, and integrity

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
