Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking a licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assess and address residents' physical therapy needs. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, meeting residents regularly and documenting progress.

Qualifications

MUST BE A GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT PTA,HAVE TAKEN THE NPTE EXAM OR ELIGIBLE TO TAKE IT AND HAVE A STATE LICENSE TO PRACTICE AS ONE OR ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ONE.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Hearing ability sufficient to evaluate residents' occupational therapy needs.

Skill communicating verbally and in writing with residents, staff and family members under the supervision of the Physical Therapist so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made.
