Job summary

TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned rehabilitation company in the Tri-State area, is seeking a Physical Therapist for its Skilled Nursing teams. You will evaluate and treat geriatric patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with nursing, physicians, and families to achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• DPT or Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State PT license.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing setting recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patients in returning to the highest level of independence.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist in our Skilled Nursing setting, you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, and play a direct role in helping patients return to their highest level of independence. Your caseload will be manageable, and your clinical judgment will be respected.
