You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, and deconditioning, developing individualized plans within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• DPT or MS in PT from an accredited program.
• Current New York State PT license.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help patients return to their highest level of independence.
• Maintain a manageable caseload and exercise clinical judgment within the team.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist in our Skilled Nursing setting, you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, and play a direct role in helping patients return to their highest level of independence. Your caseload will be manageable, and your clinical judgment will be respected.
