Physical Therapist (PT) ‐ School

Start Date: 8/4/2025     Available Shifts: 7 D     Pay Rate: $1448.15 ‐ $1586.80

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Kissimmee, FL school district to hire a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work with children of all ages. The PT will conduct assessments, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and educate students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the district as part of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions.
  2. Screen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy; collect data and report findings.
  3. Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.
  4. Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation and billing according to district and state standards.
  6. Collaborate with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment.
