Physical Therapist (PT) ‐ School

Start Date: ASAP     Available Shifts: 7 D   Pay Rate: $1487.63 ‐ $1630.06

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Baltimore, MD school district to hire a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work with children of all ages. The PT will conduct assessments, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and educate students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the district as part of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions.
  • Screen and evaluate students referred for Physical Therapy treatment.
  • Collect data and report findings accurately.
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing according to district and state standards.
  • Communicate clearly with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment.

School PT assignments typically last 9 months but can vary from 4 to 26 weeks. Benefits include:

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
  • Pass the NPTE
  • Active PT license in MD
  • Strong communication skills

  • Background check clearance
