Job summary

Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in skilled nursing facilities in Angola and Garrett, IN with home health in surrounding areas.

The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, through physician orders, using a variety of therapeutic procedures to restore strength, mobility and function; you will join a team providing support across PT services in SNFs, outpatient, long-term care or home

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in SNFs, outpatient, long-term care or home health care.
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles and equipment.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Physical Therapy

Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
