What you will do in this role:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties of the supervisor in their absence.
• Assess patients’ needs; identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions; work cooperatively with other team members to maintain standards for professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Observe and evaluate treatment effects, achievement of goals, and recommend changes to physicians as needed.
• Perform assessments and reassessments per policy, including accurate and timely QI scoring. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics requiring medical rehabilitation services.
• Assess patient pain interfering with participation; implement appropriate interventions to reduce pain; contact physicians for further intervention if necessary.
• Formulate and update patient-specific plans of care for physical therapy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Oklahoma.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
