Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapists
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development
• Current state licensure or license eligible

Essential Job Functions

• Provides physical therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate, following department procedures
• Conducts resident screenings at regular intervals to determine intervention needs
• Evaluates residents to gather data for treatment planning and conducts specialized evaluations as needed
• Coordinates treatment plans with residents, families, and team members
• Implements and conducts treatments according to the approved plan
