Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) in Waco, TX. The role provides skilled physical therapy services to patients with impairments or disabilities, planning and evaluating therapy programs that improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physical Therapy, a strong understanding of PT principles, and excellent communication skills. A valid state license is required, along with a preference for experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy, maintained in good standing.
• Previous experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment and home programs.
• Document progress in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise PTAs and aides per state law.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy, maintained in good standing.
• Previous experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
