Hospital Details

SKY REHAB, located in Bowling Green, KY, is a 60-bed inpatient rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you can develop close relationships with your patients and their families. SKY Rehab Hospital is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for services including Inpatient Rehabilitation (Adults, Adolescents, and Children), Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults), and Stroke Specialty Program (Adults). It is also accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. Functions under a physician's order.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of substances in the workplace.
