Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and implement tailored PT treatment plans in a hospital-based rehab setting.

You will conduct assessments, set goals, and develop interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and promote mobility while educating patients on injury prevention and rehab strategies. Supervisory responsibilities may include supervision of PT assistants and students.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Physical Therapist License in State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in Rehab setting preferred.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, establish appropriate goals, and develop personalized interventions to restore function and mobility.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.


How you'll contribute

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The therapist conducts comprehensive assessments, establishes appropriate goals, and develops personalized interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility. Treatments may include therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and the use of physical agents and assistive devices. The Physical Therapist educates patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies, while also supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Progress is continuously monitored and documented, with plans modified as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
