Physical Therapist – PT PRN (W2)

Location: Vancouver, WA (also Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal)

Pay: $50.00–$55.00 per hour

Overview

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is expanding its Home & Community Program in the Vancouver, WA area and is looking for experienced Physical Therapists. The program provides outpatient-level physical therapy directly in clients’ homes and community settings, focusing on real‑world goals such as returning to work, driving, and community mobility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional PT in home and community settings.
• Support real‑world goals such as return to work, return to driving, and community mobility.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, and LCSWs.
• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Reassess treatment plan effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home & community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification, per state regulations.
• Preferred: at least one year of work experience as a PT.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds; capable of moving, lifting, and transferring patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Physical requirements: fine motor skills, visual acuity, ability to walk/stand for extended periods, and to push/pull, bend/stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently.
• Health screening may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
