We are currently seeking skilled Physical Therapists (PT) & Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) who are passionate about improving lives and delivering high-quality rehabilitation services. Primary Job Duties:

1. Assist physical therapists in conducting assessments to evaluate residents’ physical abilities, functional status, and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive assessments.
2. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including physical exercises, activities, and interventions aimed at improving residents’ functional abilities and achieving treatment goals.
3. Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to residents during therapy sessions, ensuring safety, proper technique, and optimal outcomes.
4. Document resident progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Communicate effectively with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other team members to coordinate care, share information, and promote continuity of services.
6. Collaborate with residents and their families to establish realistic goals, educate them on therapeutic techniques and strategies, and provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.

Experience/Qualifications:

1. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist PT or assistant PTA in the state of Ohio.
2. For this role we'd prefer the applicant to have 1-2 years experience in this field. However, we strive to provide our staff with professional growth during their employment. For this role we will consider new grads with limited experience.
3. Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work efficiently and independently.
4. Must have stamina to work full shifts and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day, including providing therapy to multiple residents and documenting training sessions accurately.
5. Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor.
