Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Bishop Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, New York. The role supports residents in a state-of-the-art rehab gym, offering mentorship and flexible scheduling for both new grads and experienced therapists.

You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, relieve pain through exercises and hands-on therapy, supervise PT assistants, and uphold confidentiality while aligning with regulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through tasks & monitor performance.
• Supervise activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.
