Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Completion of an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
- Membership: Membership in state and national PT associations is a plus
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Therapeutic Knowledge: Understanding of PT principles, methods, and equipment
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with patients and medical teams
- Communication Skills: Ability to interpret physicians’ instructions
- Emotional Intelligence: Stability to handle patient care demands
- Confidentiality: Commitment to privacy
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Medicare, third-party reimbursement, and Net Health experience
