Job summary

Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing and Reading Hospital are seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs for referred patients according to current physical therapy practices.

The role involves supervising assistants, aides, and students, and supporting all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum, while maintaining working relationships with hospital leadership and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Master's Degree.
• PA Physical Therapy License required.
• PA Physical Therapy Temp Licensure will be considered.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred patients.
• Supervises assistants, aides, and students.
• Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum.
• Maintains relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, and other staff.
• Reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist; supports Rehabilitation Continuum.
