Job summary

The Broadview Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our In-House Rehab Team for 25-30 hours per week. You will help residents recover from surgery, injury, or illness using evidence-based PT protocols in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include planning treatments, delivering care per a plan, documenting progress, and guiding patients and families on exercise and home programs.

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent required (US licensure)
• Strong assessment and treatment planning
• Excellent patient communication and education
• Experience with rehab team-based care
• Documentation and compliance proficiency

Responsibilities

• Plan treatment for residents and patients to relieve pain and improve function
• Deliver therapy per established care plans and adjust as needed
• Provide patient, family, and caregiver instruction
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes
• Complete required forms and regulatory paperwork
• Collaborate with therapists and other clinicians
• Develop individualized therapy plans and home exercise guidance
• Administer PT treatments to improve mobility and function
• Advise patients on exercise techniques and at-home options
• Promote injury prevention and ergonomic health

The Broadview Center has an amazing opportunity for a new Part Time & Physical Therapist (PT) to join their In-House Rehab Team in Seattle, WA for 25-30 hours/week.

The Broadview Center our state-of-the-art rehabilitation services will help you recover from surgery, injury or illness. Our expertly trained team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists utilize evidence-based treatment protocols designed to help you return home as soon as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.
• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Advising patients on exercise techniques.
• Advising patients and their families about in-home treatment options.
• Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.
• Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Documenting patient care history.
• Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures.
