The Physical Therapist provides services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation across various settings. The role involves participating in program planning, protocol development, and helping the team meet established goals.

Provide evaluation services, review pertinent historical information, perform assessments, and document results. Explain findings and involve patients and families in goal setting.
Implement treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation findings and patient presentation. Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed. Recognize and document changes in patient condition requiring care plan modifications.
Complete discharge planning and follow-up care. Document and bill for care activities accurately and timely, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations. Maintain a flexible, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
Pursue continuing education for professional growth. Serve as a clinical instructor and assist with orientation and mentoring of staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required for the specific location.
American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and CPR certification.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
