Must Have

Duties
  1. Patient Evaluation & Assessment
    • Review medical history and physician referrals
    • Assess:
      • Strength
      • Flexibility
      • Range of motion
      • Balance and posture
      • Functional mobility and pain levels
    • Develop individualized treatment goals
  2. Therapeutic Exercise Programs
    • Design customized exercise plans to improve:
      • Strength
      • Endurance
      • Flexibility
      • Coordination
    • Progress exercises based on patient improvement
  3. Manual Therapy Techniques
    • Perform hands‑on treatments such as:
      • Joint mobilization
      • Soft tissue massage
      • Stretching
      • Myofascial release
  4. Mobility & Functional Training
    • Improve walking, balance, and movement mechanics
    • Train patients in functional tasks and return‑to‑activity exercises
    • Assist athletes and active individuals with performance recovery
  5. Post‑Surgical Rehabilitation
    • Provide rehabilitation after surgeries such as:
      • Joint replacements
      • ACL repairs
      • Rotator cuff surgeries
      • Spinal procedures
    • Monitor healing progress and recovery milestones
  6. Pain Management
    • Use therapeutic modalities including:
      • Heat/cold therapy
      • Electrical stimulation
      • Ultrasound
      • Therapeutic taping
    • Help reduce pain and inflammation naturally through movement
  7. Injury Prevention & Education
    • Educate patients on:
      • Proper posture
      • Body mechanics
      • Ergonomics
      • Injury prevention strategies
    • Teach home exercise programs for continued recovery
  8. Sports & Orthopedic Rehabilitation
    • Treat sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
    • Assist patients in returning to work, sports, or daily activities safely
  9. Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
    • Communicate with physicians and specialists regarding patient progress
    • Coordinate care plans and treatment updates
  10. Patient Motivation & Support
    • Encourage patient participation and adherence to therapy plans
    • Track progress and adjust goals as needed
  11. Documentation & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress reports
    • Document patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness
    • Ensure compliance with insurance and clinic policies
