Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and utilize advanced clinical skills to provide exceptional care to patients across various clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems to determine functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at reducing pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall functional abilities.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as part of treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety practices, and home exercise programs to support continuity of care and promote long-term wellness.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and responses to treatment interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alabama.
  • CPR certification (BLS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Physical Therapist in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation, acute care, or outpatient services.
  • Specialized training or certifications in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, sports rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.
