Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Altamonte Springs is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver one-on-one patient care in a family-owned practice. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans, and provide vestibular, balance, and orthopedic rehabilitation in a supportive setting.

New graduates are welcome. The role emphasizes quality care over patient quotas and offers opportunities for ongoing training within FYZICAL’s balance programs.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PT license required.
• New graduates welcome; outpatient orthopedics experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one patient care with individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, establish diagnoses, and create evidence-based care plans.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance training, vestibular and orthopedic rehab.
• Monitor progress, reassess outcomes, and adjust plans to maximize recovery.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, home exercises, and wellness.
• Collaborate with PTAs and other clinicians for coordinated care.
• Provide guidance to PTAs in line with Florida regulations.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation using EMR.
• Build strong patient relationships and foster a positive rehab experience.
• Contribute to a supportive clinic culture and ongoing professional development.

Physical Therapist (PT) – Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one patient care with individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, establish appropriate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based plans of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance training, vestibular rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess functional outcomes, and adjust treatment plans to maximize recovery.
• Educate and empower patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with PTAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, effective patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to PTAs in accordance with Florida regulations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using Prompt EMR.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients, creating a positive, motivating, and supportive rehabilitation experience.
• Embrace FYZICAL's specialized balance and vestibular rehabilitation programs, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture focused on exceptional patient outcomes and compassionate care.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a current, active Florida Physical Therapist license.
• New graduates are welcome to apply! Experience in outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, or vestibular therapy is preferred but not required.
• Ability to independently evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based treatment interventions.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training.
• Passion for treating patients with vestibular disorders, balance impairments, neurological conditions, and fall-risk concerns.
• Experience in vestibular rehabilitation and balance training is a plus, with opportunities for specialized training through FYZICAL.
• Self-motivated, organized, and confident working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to effectively manage patient care, clinical documentation, and treatment progression in a one-on-one outpatient setting.
• A willingness to learn, grow, and embrace FYZICAL's specialized balance and vestibular rehabilitation approach.
