Job summary

Tower Health’s Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our acute and transitional units on the Rehabilitation Continuum. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy for referred patients in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• PA Physical Therapy License or temporary licensure.

• Supervises assistants, aides, and students.
• Supports all Rehabilitation Continuum programs.

The Physical Therapist:

• Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred patients according to accepted principles and practices of physical therapy.
• Supervises assistants, aides, and students.
• Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum.
• Maintains working relationships with: Hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, ancillary services, and hospital support personnel.
• Supervised by and reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist. Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum.
