Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to physician’s plan of care.
• Initiate therapy programs and instruct family/caregivers as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries.
• Provide in-service education for nursing staff as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per policy and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program with current licensure.
