Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum independence and function.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for billing purposes.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care activities according to state laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of operation.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as per state regulations.
• Preferred: at least one year of PT experience.
