Schedule and Training

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (40 hours total)
  • During training: Follow trainer’s start time, including weekends
  • Post-training: Start at 10 AM

Non-exempt Employees:

  • Eligible for overtime pay for hours over 40/week

Overtime Pay:

  • Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for hours beyond 40/week
  • No double pay for overtime and holiday premium

Weekend Shifts:

  • 3 weekends/month for the first 2 years
  • 2 weekends/month after 2 years

Flex Days:

  • Mandatory to ensure a 40-hour workweek
  • Flexible weekend shift design, subject to approval

Holiday Work Expectations:

  • Mandatory work on Thanksgiving and Christmas on a rotating schedule

Shift Differentials Available:

  • Second Shift (Evening): Clock out after 7:07 PM, pay from 2:45 PM
  • Third Shift (Night): Clock out after 3:07 AM, pay from 10:45 PM
  • Weekend Shift: Clock out after 10:45 PM Friday, return 7:15 AM Monday
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree, no experience required
  • Eligible for licensure in Texas
  • CPR or BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accredited)
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience
Job Duties
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and treatment protocols
  • Proper body mechanics for safety, reviewing patient information, and evaluating treatment effectiveness
  • Designing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Preparing for discharge, documenting progress, and ordering equipment
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
