Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist to reliably serve patients in Anderson, MO and surrounding areas. This full-time position offers a $30,000 retention bonus for eligible full-time staff and opportunities for hands-on training within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Visit a variety of clients in their own home, helping them recover from an injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements such as mobility, transfer status, balance, gait, strength, and endurance assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including manual therapy, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Educate clients and family members in rehabilitative care to promote health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in electronic systems.

We are recruiting for a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) to reliably serve patients in Anderson, MO and surrounding area. This is a Full-Time position.

What you’ll do:

Visit a variety of clients in their own home, helping them recover from an injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.

Responsibilities for a PT - Physical Therapist include:

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
• Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
• Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
• Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client’s health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

What you should have:

• Active and current PT license
