Job summary

Eyas Landing is seeking a Physical Therapist Department Lead / Supervisor to deliver pediatric physical therapy across clinic, schools, and homes. You will oversee a team of Physical Therapists, focusing on mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence for children with ASD, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs.

You will mentor therapists, collaborate with OTs and SLPs, and contribute to program growth while advancing leadership responsibilities within the department.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy licensure to practice.
• Experience working with children and/or clients with special needs preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy to children and families.
• Implement DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and IRM approaches.
• Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists, and social workers.
• Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
• Mentor Physical Therapists and provide clinical guidance for consistent care.

1409 W. Carroll Ave. Chicago, IL | Monday-Thursday, 10-6:30pm and Friday, 9-5:30pm; Opportunities for Saturdays, 8-1:30pm

Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation Package: Valued between $98,000-$111,000.
• Annual Salary: $80,000-$90,000, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist (PT) Department Lead / Supervisor at Eyas Landing, you will provide physical therapy to children and families in our clinic, clients' schools and homes while overseeing a team of Physical Therapists. You'll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.

You'll foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth.

Responsibilities:

• Providing individualized physical therapy.
• Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
• Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
• Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Physical Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Required credentials to practice physical therapy.
• Experience working with children and/or clients with special needs preferred.
• Competencies: bold contributor, holding other accountable, dealing with ambiguity, and developing employees.
