The Physical Therapist (PT) plans, conducts, and implements physical therapy treatment programs to restore or maintain patient well-being, adhering to confidentiality and professional standards.
Deliver high-quality therapy services per physician prescriptions, provide written evaluations with goals and progress, collaborate with healthcare teams and families, supervise personnel (PTA, HHA), and complete assessments like OASIS where permitted.
Require a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, current unrestricted state license, and CPR certification. Proficiency in assessments, documentation, and compliance is essential. Additional state-specific CE requirements may apply.
Includes at least one year in acute care or rehabilitation settings, with pediatric experience being highly desirable.
Include attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and strong organizational and communication skills.
