Adelphi is seeking experienced Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide services at an Educational Institution in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidates will collaborate with school staff to deliver therapy services to students while ensuring adherence to educational guidelines, Admission Review and Dismissal Committee (ARDC) determinations, and professional standards of practice.

Requirements:
  • Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license (Must be in good standing)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing therapy services (preferred)
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP implementation, ARDC processes, and Medicaid billing
  • Must meet all IRS standards for contracted professionals

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services per students' IEPs and ARDC decisions.
  • Conduct evaluations and eligibility assessments following District and federal guidelines.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing gross motor skills, mobility, and school access.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and service providers to integrate therapy into educational settings.
  • Attend ARDC/IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and service planning.
  • Submit all documentation (evaluations, progress reports) before invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with timelines, IDEA, and District therapy standards.
  • Provide staff and family training on therapy techniques, equipment, and student support.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, evaluations, and billing per District policy.
  • Comply with ethical, licensure, and legal standards.
  • Use own transportation between school sites and follow school safety protocols.
