Physical Therapist (PT) - Acute Care - PRN

Join us as a Physical Therapist (PT) - Acute Care - PRN at Lifepoint Health.

The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the healthcare setting to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part.

Responsibilities include:

• Attaining and maintaining knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and incorporating this knowledge into patient care.
• Participating in patient care coordination meetings, team, and family conferences as needed.
• Preparing complete written evaluations for patients' charts using objective information and concise language, and completing necessary documentation accurately according to departmental guidelines.
• Maintaining an organized schedule, meeting deadlines, providing comfort and supportive care to patients, and ensuring patient privacy and safety.

Minimum Education:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree or Physical Therapy Certificate; Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate.

Required Skills and Licenses:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred in healthcare environment.
