Physical Therapist – Acute Care (Hospital-Based)

Full-Time | $30K Bonus Potential | 1:1 Patient Care | Flexible Schedule

Overview:

Join a high-performing acute care team within one of South Carolina’s most respected hospital systems. This full-time PT position offers a clinically diverse caseload, exceptional mentorship, and a strong focus on individualized, evidence-based care. Whether you're a new grad or an experienced therapist looking to deepen your acute skillset, this is a rare opportunity to grow in a hospital that values quality over quotas.

What You’ll Find Here

Clinical Variety & Challenge

• Rotate through ICU, PICU, neuro, ortho, trauma, and post-op units

• Treat a wide range of medically complex patients with a collaborative, interdisciplinary team

• Expand your skills across multiple hospital floors with full clinical support

Patient-Centered Care

• 30-minute, individualized treatment sessions

• Average caseload of just 10 patients/day—allowing for meaningful interactions and improved outcomes

• Emphasis on autonomy and flexibility based on patient needs

Flexible Scheduling

• Choose from 4x10s or 5x8s (scheduling varies by unit needs)

• Minimal weekends—typically 1 in 8

• Optional weekend PRN coverage at $60/hr

Mentorship + Onboarding Support

• Structured orientation program with shadowing + hands-on training

• Excellent fit for new grads, returning acute care therapists, or those transitioning from outpatient

Compensation & Benefits:

• $36.58 – $52.55/hour based on experience

• Up to $30,000 in bonuses (sign-on + retention)
